Vera Wong’s Unsolicited Advice for Murderers by Jesse Q. Sutanto was such a joy to read. It’s a cozy murder-mystery that will warm your heart and make you laugh aloud. Vera Wong owns a tea shop in San Francisco’s Chinatown and when a man ends up dead in her shop, she investigates. The tale that unfolds was, in a word, wonderful.

A Tempest at Sea by Sherry Thomas was one of my most anticipated audiobook releases for 2023. This is the seventh Lady Sherlock novel in the historical mysteries series featuring Charlotte Holmes. Thomas delivered as Charlotte and company find themselves on board the RMS Provence with her mother and a murderer. The game is afoot.
