It’s the spooky season and the perfect time to read The Book of Witching by C.J. Cooke. In this creeptastic tale, a mother searches for answers as her daughter lays in the hospital after a hiking trip with her friends on the remote Orkney Islands that met a horrifying end, leaving her boyfriend dead and her best friend missing. A dark tale that moves between the present and the past.
Wicche Hunt by Seana Kelly
Wicche Hunt by Seana Kelley is the second audiobook in the Sea Wicche Chronicles and takes place in the same world as her Sam Quinn books. Arwyn Cassandra Corey, the Sea Wicche of Monterey, is a clairvoyant and artist who speaks to sea creatures and assists the local police besides her witchy duties. Suspenseful, funny and at times dark, this is an addictive series.
The Bitter Truth by Shanora Williams
Sophia Rose is here with another review. You’ll want to dive into The Bitter Truth by Shanora Williams. Come see what Sophia loved about this political charged and absorbing domestic thriller.
Candle & Crow by Kevin Hearne
Candle & Crow by Kevin Hearne is the third and final audiobook in the Ink & Sigil series. As a huge fan of Hearne and The Iron Druid Chronicles, I have loved this series set within the same world. While I own the hardcovers, I had to listen to the talented narrations of Luke Daniels. I highly recommend binge listening to the series.
