The Girl with the Windup Heart was a successful yet predictable finish to the Steampunk Chronicles by Kady Cross. With two storylines, all of our favorite characters are present as Cross weaved danger, humor and romantic moments into a steampunk-filled finale.
In Want of a Wife by Jo Goodman
I love westerns, historical novels and mail order bride tropes, so when the chance to read, In Want of a Wife by Jo Goodman came up I snagged it. Boy Howdy, am I glad I did. This historical romance had everything. Goodman spun a tale of ranch life, romance and then weaved a suspenseful plot around our heroine and hero. I consumed this in two sittings and I am looking forward to reading more from Goodman.
Reviving Izabel by J.A. Redmerski
Reviving Izabel is the second novel In the Company of Killers by J.A. Redmerski. While I did not love this as much as Killing Sarai, it was nonetheless an edge of your seat tale laced with drama, heat and danger.
The Bad Boy Billionaire: What a Girl Wants by Maya Rodale
What a Girl Wants is the third and final novella in the Bad Boy Billionaire tale. This is a modern day companion series to Maya Rodale’s Wicked Wallflower historical romance series. Together they make up her Bad Boys & Wallflower series. I am reading and enjoying both of them. What a Girl Wants was a sweet conclusion to the modern love story, and I enjoyed being caught in the rain with Jane and Duke.
All I Want Is You by Toni Blake
All I Want Is You is the first in a new series by Toni Blake called Coral Cove. It offered up a wonderful, hot romance wrapped in up in a small-town tale. Blake delivers characters who experience, personal growth. They learn to love and trust and find something magical in the process Blake took me on a journey that made me laugh, shed a tear, and leap for joy.
