I was drawn to Made For Us by Samantha Chase because I have a weakness for series involving brothers and small-towns. This is the first book in the Shaughnessy Brothers series and I was excited to dive in. While I had issues with the characters and angst, Chase managed to make me smile.
The Snow White Bride & The Ballad of Rosamunde by Claire Delacroix
Welcome to Coffee Pot Reviews! These are short and sweet reviews done in the length of time it takes my coffee pot to brew! I have two historical romances to share with you today from Claire Delacroix’s Jewels of Kinfairlie series. The Snow White Bride & The Ballad of Rosamunde. I have had such fun with this medieval series about siblings ..enjoy and stick around for a cup of mocha coffee!
Go Set a Watchman by Harper Lee
One of my favorite books is To Kill a Mockingbird from the characters to the writing. I have re-read it many times and I have always mourned the fact that I could not read more works by Harper Lee. Therefore, when news of Go Set a Watchman spread I knew that I would have to read it. I noticed Resse Witherspoon was narrating the audio edition and decided to listen instead.
The Banished Craft by E.D.E. Bell
Now and again, I like to lose myself in a high fantasy and when the opportunity to review The Banished Craft by E.D.E. Bell came along, I accepted. It is the first in the Shkode trilogy. How could I pass up a world with DRAGONS and WIZARDS? Fascinating, quirky this adult fantasy can easily be read by fans of the genre in all age groups.
Energized by Mary Behre
I love the Tidewater series by Mary Behre and totally recommend them. Energized the third novel was one of my favorites. Behre delivered suspense, a second chance romance and took us into the mind of a killer. If you like romantic suspense with paranormal elements the Tidewater series offers lovable characters and suspenseful tales.
