Psst…. Until Nobody But Me, I had never read a Jill Shalvis book. *blinks* I know crazy right. Peeps kept telling me how wonderful her books were. So yes, I jumped in on book three of the Cedar Ridge books. Sometimes you just have to take the plunge. Nobody But You was a delicious book to try with swoon-worthy characters are just the right amount of heat.
Calamity by Brandon Sanderson
Calamity by Brandon Sanderson is the last novel in the Reckoners series and one of my most highly anticipated audiobooks this year. I have had such a blast listening to MacLeod Andrews narrates this action-packed series and love the characters within. Sadly, while I enjoyed Calamity it ended up fizzling and did not deliver the intense epic final battle I craved.
As Good As New by Jennifer Dawson
As Good As New by Jennifer Dawson is the fourth book in the Something New series and I devoured it in one sitting. I love second chance romances and Dawson delivered. As Good As New had a swoon-worthy tormented hero, family and a sizzling hot romance.
Her Forever Hero by Melody Anne
Her Forever Hero by Melody Anne is the third book in her Unexpected Heroes series. I read book one but someone missed book two but decided to jump ahead and read this since it worked for Take Control and fulfilled my Xoxpert read for March. .Her Forever Hero delivered a second chance romance filled with suspense, growing pains, and growth.
Against a Brightening Sky by Jaime Lee Moyer
Against a Brightening Sky by Jaime Lee Moyer is the last book in the Delia Martin trilogy. A wonderful historical murder-mystery trilogy set around the 1900’s in San Francisco wrapped in paranormal elements. While each of the books shares a particular case, I recommend reading them in order due to the progress of the main characters. Against A Brightening Sky delivered a dark mystery weaved with Russian history that quickly held me captive.
