As we head into fall, mysteries and suspense thrillers become a favorite read. All the Beautiful Brides by Rita Herron the first book in her Graveyard Falls series delivered a suspenseful murder mystery with a light dish of romance on the side. Old murders, new murders and a perspective from the killer made this a page-turner.
The Accident Season by Moïra Fowley-Doyle was not on my radar until I read a review from a fellow blogger. Then an opportunity to review the audio version with Colby Minifie reading presented itself and I jumped. I am so delighted that I did so as the Accident Season was beautiful, dark, mysterious, and quirky.
When a Scot Ties the Knot by Tessa Dare is the third novel in the delightful Castles Ever After series and it gave me an incredible book high. I DEVOURED this in one sitting. Seriously, I was lost to the outside world and swooning in the highlands of Scotland.

Today’s book recommendation is Color Me Mindful: Underwater by Anastasia Catris an adult coloring book. My daughter’s are in their twenties and love coloring but finding challenging books can be daunting…..this is one in a collection of coloring books that will have you digging out your crayons, colored pencils and markers.
Reawakened by Colleen Houck takes the reader on an adventurous quest from New York City to the tombs of Egypt. Wrapped in Egyptian mythology Awakened and its tale of good vs evil and forbidden romance will captivate listeners. While I struggled with aspects, I quite enjoyed the narrative voices of Phoebe Strole and Mark Deakins and this original fantasy.
