Edge by Tiffinie Helmer is the first in the Romance on the Edge series offering up romantic suspense in the picturesque setting of Alaska. Edge offers suspense, romance and complex characters. It has a small-town feel with a backdrop that will have you drooling.
Charlotte Stein is back with Forbidden the second novella in her Under the Skin series. She weaves taboo into her erotic tales with unique characters and while this was not necessarily, a favorite you cannot help but appreciate her take on it.
I have been enjoying the Sweet, Texas series by Candis Terry. She delivers small-town romances with a touch of heat, family and delightful characters. While Sweet Surprise will not earn a place among my favorites, it was a sweet romance filled with fun, cupcakes and the second half had me smiling.
Open Endings can be both wonderful and infuriating but most of the time I actually like them. I know some of you are rolling your eyes and yes there have been times when we are left wondering if somehow we are missing the final pages in our ARC or finished copy. Truth be told though, most of the time I kind of prefer them…
See Them Run is the second Lucy Kendall book by Stacy Green. Suspenseful with engaging characters I once again slipped into Lucy’s world as she plays judge, jury and executioner. Green takes us into the seedy world of child sex trafficking in this well-crafted thriller.
