This week my oldest turns thirty-five, and damn if that doesn’t make me feel old! I am still suffering from tailbone pain. However, I bought a pillow like someone suggested last week, and that has helped with driving and sitting down to dinner. We had a snowstorm hit on Thursday, shutting down school on Thursday and Friday. I finished and filed our taxes, and I am glad to have that out of the way. Stay caffeinated, & spread kindness.

Always good to get the taxes done and over with. I’m sorry about the lingering tailbone pain. That always takes so long to go away. Hopefully the pillow will help. Happy birthday to your oldest! My mother takes my aging way harder than I do! It always gives me a giggle. Have a great week!
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
Yay for getting your taxes done — and for snow days! I’m sorry your tailbone is still hurting, but I’m glad the pillow is giving you some relief.
Lindsi @ Do You Dog-ear?
I still need to do our taxes, but really don’t want to. It takes forever and makes my head hurt. 😫 I’m sorry about your tailbone and the bad weather. I’m so, so ready for summer.
Mary Kirkland
My daughter turns 35 this year too. Hopefully your tailbone heals soon.
Lisa @ Boondock Ramblings
I’m glad your tailbone is healing! Injuries like that can take so long!

Correction…I read too fast! I hope your tailbone heals a bit faster than it is!
Sarah
I hope your tailbone soon feels less bruised – it’s such a painful place! Glad the pillow is helping. Hope the glow of completing your taxes contributes to a great week:).

Happy Birthday to your oldest child, Kimberly. I know the feeling, my oldest will be turning 42 in April. I am so glad I’m not home, with all the snow and cold grey days. Try and stay warm. I’m glad the pillow is helping with your tailbone issue.

Oh man, kid milestones can be grueling on the ego. LOL
I’ve used a nice cushion now and then. Way to go checking off the taxes! We’ve got all our papers gathered so we’ll file this week.
Have a good week, Kimberly!

I think your snow storm was ahead of ours, we are getting snow today into Tuesday. I am so sorry you are still having trouble with your tailbone, but glad the pillow is helping. Have a great week!

We are having a lot of wind today and mild temperatures. We have had some fantastic weather this week, but having 80+ degrees in February…what will that mean for summertime? Any who…have a great week.
Melissa - That Library Girl
Glad to hear the pillow is working out for you!!!! I’m supposed to get a freaking blizzard today, 24″ is predicted- YIKES!!! Completely over winter!!!!!
Have a great week!

My only will turn thirty this year and I’m older than you. Congrats on handling those taxes. I have all the paperwork, the last 1099 I need but won’t get to it until March with the poll greeting and windows this week. I hope you feel better soon.
Suzanne @Chick with Books
Now that I’ve moved South, those snowstorms come less frequently. Yesterday in SC, we actually had 75 degrees, but will be back to much colder this week ahead. Back in my hometown in CT, they are prepping for a blizzard this week! It’s been crazy weather this winter, but I am looking forward to Spring! Have a great week!
Rachel @Waves of Fiction
We had snow on Thursday, too. The town basically shut down as well! Hope your tailbone feels better. I fractured mine years ago and it was slow healing so you have all my sympathies! Have a wonderful week!

Good for you to have your taxes done. I’m just waiting on a few more tax reporting documents from the gov’t to complete mine. Have a great week and I hope your tailbone feels better soon.

My eldest spawn is 40, so I know how you feel. Like, there is no WAY I’m old enough for that! LOL Tailbone pain is the worst! As I learned several years ago when I bruised mine sledding. Hopefully it’ll be gone soon. I need to consult someone for my taxes this year since the ex and I are still only legally separated and not actually divorced yet. Ugh. Why does shit have to be so complicated? I hope you have a great week, Kim!
Jessica @ a GREAT read
Sorry to hear the tailbone is still hurting! Wishing you a speedier recovery on that front! I worked on my taxes as well this weekend! They’re still pretty simple since I am still house hunting.
Nice new read! That’s a new to me one but I hope you love it once you get to read it!

Happy birthday to your eldest! I hope your tailbone pain improves soon! I fell on some ice a few years ago and a cushion helped so much during the recovery. Every once in a while I still get a twinge if I sit the wrong way though. Hope you have a good week ahead!
Lori
It’s hard when ours kids grow older but worse when the grandchildren turn 18. I think my gray hair got grayer😁
