It’s getting darker earlier and earlier. Not only will I be another year older next month, but I can feel summer fading. I noticed some trees have already turned. Getting the newest Covid shot this week, and scheduled my flu shot for the first week of October. If you are in the US, I encourage you to register to vote. Every voice matters. My birthday is next month too! I love this time of the year because there’s so much to look forward to!
Bookworm
I love this time of year. It is so important that everyone votes. Happy reading, I saw Cabinet of Curiosities somewhere and it caught my eye.
Alicia
I’m looking forward to cooler days but not the time change.
Also, remember to check your voter registration, as laws have changed in some states,
Mary Kirkland
Happy early birthday. It’s finally cooling down a little at night.
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
I’m loving the cooler temperatures and hints of fall color here in NM, where I’m visiting this week. Thank you for the reminder to get my flu shot! I did get my Covid shot two weeks ago. I’m already registered and planning to vote on Nov. 5, but thank you for posting a reminder. It’s so important that everyone casts their ballot and makes their voice heard.
Meezan
Fall is definitely in the air. Have a great week! 🙂

I always know fall is here when the oak leaves start filling my poop. lol
Sophia Rose
Yep, summer is on the wane around here, too. Busy days!
Have a good week, Kimberly!
Rachel @Waves of Fiction
I’ll probably get my Covid soon, too. I get my flu shot at work and I don’t think they start giving them until after October, so I’ll get it soon after. Yeah, the days are changing. We have some trees already getting red leaves in our yard, too. Longing For Sin looks interesting. I’ll look it up. Have a wonderful week, Kimberly!
Anne - Books of My Heart
Yeah, I am not excited about the getting dark earlier. Good for you sharing the voter info. I’ve been doing that along with other stuff on my personal Facebook page.
Cindy's Book Corner
It will be fall soon. We have noticed the trees are turning here as well. Have a great week!
Victoria
I am looking forward to cooler days, our ten-day forecast is all mid to high eighties (28-31 Celsius) so looks Iike the sweaters will continue to wait to be worn. I enjoy the Cabinet of Curiosities podcast. I assume the book is a perfect companion!
Sophie
It begins to feel like winter here as well Kimberly! They don’t speak of COVID shot anymore here. If we want to have one we can ask but there is no more massive vaccine campaign like we had for the first three shots.
Lisa Mandina (Lisa Loves Literature)
I’m loving the dark in the evenings. Makes it easier to get to bed sooner to get more rest before work. I will also have my birthday next month! Have a great week!
Olivia
We have boosters coming up next month too. And yes, I am registered to vote! Looks like a great reading week. I need to take a closer look at some of these titles.
Jessica @ a GREAT read
We’re still in the thick of second summer here, but it will be nice when fall actually starts showing up. Two weeks ago we had the tease and it was lovely, but now it’s summer again and it’s dreadful!
Nice new reads! These are new to me ones but I hope you enjoy each and every one of them!
Here’s my StS
Have a GREAT day!

I need to get my boosters. Thanks for the reminder. I should also put the website to check registration on my Sunday Post. Good idea! I hope you get some late Summer weather, Kim!
Jodie @ That Happy Reader
Good for you to have your COVID booster already. Health Canada hasn’t approved it here yet. I really notice the lengthening darkness here too – particularly in the mornings. Have a great week!
Jody
Winter here in Indiana is waaaayyy too long for me. I don’t mind the snow so much, it’s the gloom. I detest the gloomy ugly skies in the winter. If the sun would shine and it would snow I would be okay, lol! Have a wonderful week, Kimberly.
Yvonne @ Socrates Book Reviews
I had the pneumonia shot and now I have to make an appointment for the flu shot, then Covid. Our weather in Florida is still hot and humid. I do miss the fall colors. It’s always summer here.
Jill
I get all my shots at once. I like to get it over with!
Emily @ Budget Tales Book Blog
It is definitely starting to be Autumn!
I am not looking forward to getting my Flu jab. I think they start doing them at the end of October 🤔
Have a great week next week!
Lola
Here the weather is getting cooler as well and some trees are already changing colors. That’s good you got your Covid shot and have your flu one scheduled. Have a nice week!
Taylor @ Taylor Fenner’s Bookish World
I love fall but I’m not looking forward to it getting darker earlier. I got my flu shot on the 5th because I’m traveling at the end of the month.
Mark
We really cooled off here in So Cal. I’m not happy. I want summer to last longer!
Lori
You are so right. Summer reels by so fast and Winter sticks around for ever.
It is important to get out to vote. I will be adding that link to my blog too.
Have a great week and enjoy the nice weather while you can.
Laurel-Rain Snow
I plan to get my flu shot and another COVID one, too! I am also eager to vote!
