After the readathon ended, I found myself with a bunch of reviews to write and have been slowly knocking them off. Thanks to Taylor Fenner for hosting a challenge. You rock! I am not sure if I will continue the Fraterfest Readathon next read. Participation was at an all-time low. Up next is the HoHoHo Readathon in November. We still need challenge hosts. We have been watching the Phillies and Eagles as the weather flip-flops between summer and winter. Have a wonderful week & Stay Caffeinated.

I’m shocked to hear that Fraterfest was poorly attended. It was my first time participating and I had a great time reading scary books. Thanks for hosting!
Mary Kirkland
My reading always slows down to a crawl by the end of the year.
sjhigbee
I recall your weather has the most amazing temperature swings… Glad you are on top of your reviews – I’ve spent the year trying to keep up! I hope the coming week is a good one for you, Kimberly.
ShootingStarsMag
Sorry the Fraterfest readathon didn’t have as many people taking part. I feel like my reading has been all over the place this month. I might have to do the Ho-Ho-Ho one though if I have time.
Ronyell @ Rabbit Ears Book Blog
I’m trying to decide if I want to join the Ho Ho Readathon. I’ve been having problems with reading books this month. So, this readathon might help me out!
MarthaE
I relate to the extra reviews to write thanks to Fraterfest.
I have to line up books and sign up for Ho-Ho-Ho.
I hope the weather flipping doesn’t impact your health negatively.
Your new books are all new authors to me.
Happy Reading!
Rolé @ Hooked By That Book
Good luck with all your reviews. And hope you have a great week!

Hallo, Hallo everyone!
Last time I joined you for The Sunday Post, I had intended to visit some of your lovely blogs but time slipped past me with work and some unexpected crises involving my Dad. Ergo, I’m hoping this week to hop between the last one I shared and this week’s and start to get back into a good rhythm again with visiting with others. This time round it is a bit of a lighter update and a more regular one that I hope to continue in the future. I’m talking about #SpooktasticReads and having to bow out of #Fraterfest before I even realised I missed it! :O Oyy. Maybe next year!
I picked 3x main reads I want to focus on until Halloween and if all goes well I’ll be adding on a few extras, too. Trying to get back into regular posts — between Sunday Posts and WWWeds and maybe a few other meme posts whilst reviewing as I’m able too and hoping for some guest posts as time shifts forward. Just starting to re-find my groove. Thanks for visiting if you drop by and I’m also dipping my toes on Insta nowadays, too. Some book photos will start to generate on there before the close of October, too.
Hope all is well with all of you, too.
PS: Hoping to do the HoHoHoRAT… *fingers crossed*!!

Yes, weather was a bit erratic last, but I think we’ve finally settled into fall this week. We hit peek color season to make my walks lovely. Hopefully, you get through your reviews quickly. I’ve got a few reviews to work up. Yes, fun cover game from Taylor for Fraterfest. Too bad it was low on participation this year.
Have a good week, Kimberly!
Anne - Books of My Heart
I have a pile of reviews to write too. We’ve been nice 60-70, more in the 70s this upcoming week. I loved An Inheritance of Magic and Robin like The Nameless Restaurant which I’d like to read too.
Kimberly
I devoured both and concur.
Meezan
All of your books look like wonderful reads! Have a great week! 🙂
Sophie
I am sorry the readathon had not more participants Kimberly. This week has been crazy busy and I barely ahd time to reply to comments at the beginning of the week! I hope you’ll write all your reviews!
sherry fundin
I have been reading more than writing reviews and I get mad at myself. It is so much easier to write the reviews right after finishing the book. Sometimes, I can’t help myself and I have to get to the next book on my list. LOL I am hit and miss on some of my weekly blog posts. I do get a bit lazy sometimes. I have been root, root, rooting for my Michigan Wolverines and Detroit Lions. I love that both of them are doing so well this year.
Lark @ The Bookwyrm’s Hoard
I’m glad you got a lot read during Fraterfest. I failed it utterly. I’m beginning to think I am too much of a mood reader these days to be any good at sticking to readathon themes. I usually sign up for the HoHoHoRAT, but I may have to miss it this year. I have a project due right around then.
Your new books look good. I hope you enjoy reading all of them! know you love Benedict Jacka’s books.
Bookworm
Thank you for hosting Fraterfest, I know that must be a lot of work to host and organize. I managed to read 6 short stories for it this time around.
Enjoy your week and football!

I miss the cold weather (and food) from this time of year most of all. Thanksgiving and Christmas just do not seem right when it’s sunny and hot. After nearly 20 years living in southern Thailand, you would think I would get used to it but I never do.
Lover of romance
There are definite downsides to doing readathons. What I have been doing lately, is writing my reviews when I finish a book and time myself so I don’t take too long writing them. Glad you had a good week and are caught up from a busy week.
A Voracious Reader
I wish I had time for readathons. I hate my life right now.
Good luck with the reviews. I’m beginning to think mine will never get written, but I know they will. Eventually.
Stormi
If your smelling snow, you keep it up your way. 🙂 I am so not ready for this weather. We have rain all next week bringing the cooler weather and I am not ready.
Have a great week and happy reading!

Catherine @ Book Club Librarian
Your new arrivals look very tempting!
S. J. Pajonas
We’re also flip-flopping between summer and fall weather. I’m enjoying the cooler weather.
Emma @ Words And Peace
Snow? Feel free to keep it all for you, I don’t like that smell, lol
Jodie
The Nameless Restaurant looks particularly good! I hope that you enjoy them all. Have a great week!
Maureen @ Maureen's Books
I’m so excited to see the HoHoHo Readathon sign up again. I signed up right away.
I’ve joined the Sunday Post again for the first time in almost a year. I’ve been wanting to for weeks.. but now it felt like the right time. I’m so excited!
Happy reading!

We’ve been watching a lot of post season baseball as well.

Just a suggestion. Please make it possible to follow or like your blog in *multiple* and obvious ways, because sometimes the preferred way isn’t possible. My WordPress blog is particularly fussy about Blogger and Comments and Following and such. 🙄. I feel bad visiting your blogs without letting you know in some way that I was there.
Maybe once a week we should do a blog follow where we let each other know what works on each other’s blogs and what doesn’t. ☝🏻🧝🏻♀️💕
Kimberly
Hmm, I am WordPress self hosted and have follow options in sidebar and WordPress newsletter. I use Feedly to follow Blogger & other platforms.
Kimber Li
I’ll look into it. Thanks. 👍🏻👩🏼🌾

Busy, busy week for everybody! I’m still working on the book review I was supposed to get posted yesterday on my sparkling new blog for Cozy Mysteries, Romantic Suspense, and Sweet Romance. Almost done with it. Whew!
Stephanie @ Once Upon a Chapter
I love read-a-thons but the review aftermath can be brutal! I have The Puzzle Master in my TBR but I haven’t had a chance to get to it yet. I really hope you enjoy it! I hope this week is good to you!
Joann Downie
Thank you!!
Juli @ A Universe in Words
The weather has been flipflopping here as well, from dropping to freezing temperatures and now I’m enjoying a blue sky with sun and am gonna put my laundry up to dry outside… I hope participating is up for the next readathon! I’m dreading the impact of the start of the semester on my reading, but that’s why I’m back on the audiobooks! I hope you have a lovely week 🙂
Juli @ A Universe in Words
LORI CASWELL
This weather has been crazy. Have a great week!
Mark
You’re smelling snow? Meanwhile, I spent the day at the beach.
Kimberly
So jelly!
Rachel @Waves of Fiction
It does seem like a lot of work to host a read-a-thon, and if you didn’t have a bunch of participation I can see how you’d feel reluctant to continue.
I will be reviewing The Last Close Call this week also. Loved it! Looking forward to your thoughts, Kimberly.
Yvonne @ Socrates Book Reviews
Enjoy your readathons. Have a great week!
Greg
It has been so cold and rainy here. And of course it gets darker so early now. I’m not a fan! The big news here is the Michigan/ Michigan State game. Ouch.
Laurel-Rain Snow
Your week sounds very good. Enjoy catching up on the reviews.
