Poor Clayton had croup early in the week, but with the help of steroids, he is feeling better. I have an appoint with my OGBYN, this week to see if my headaches are caused by hormonal changes. This week they were awful, but the weather may have affected them. We had rain, fog, snow, sleet and more snow. I am enjoying Daisy Jones and the Six on Prime and the Mandalorian on Disney. Not much else to report. It was miserable out Saturday, so I caught up on writing reviews. Stay Caffeinated.

I hope Clayton is feeling even better by now and your doctor tracks down the cause of your migraines. What miserable weather you’ve been having. I hope this week was better.
Rolé @ Hooked By That Book
Hope you find a solution for your headaches. I’m also looking forward to You Can Die and Nevermore Bookstore. Have a great week.
Mary Kirkland
I hope they figure out your headaches. Glad he is feeling better.
Katherine
Weather is the main trigger for my migraines but I think hormones run a pretty close 2nd. I hope you get some answers and some relief! Pour Clayton. Croup is one of those illnesses that is just as miserable as it sounds. I hope he is feeling a lot better. Have a great week!
Lorna
Poor little prince. I’m glad he’s feeling better now. I can’t wait to watch Daisy Jones. I’m waiting for more of the episodes to be released. I’m jealous you got the book You Can Die. I just listened to book 2 a couple of weeks ago? Maybe longer. I gave up on Net Galley when I quit reviewing on blogs. But I still review-maybe they might want me for something? I don’t know how that works.
Lorna
Oops. Forgot to mention your headaches. Could it be allergies? The pollen here is awful and I’ve been having headaches too. But I do take daily prescribed meds for them and it keeps them down to a dull roar rather than knocking my head for a loop. I didn’t even know GYN doctors even did that!
Kimberly
She will test my hormone levels.
MarthaE
Sorry the young one had croup. I hope your doctors can help with your condition.
Interesting new titles – two with graveyards. Both of those get my interest as does Nevermore Bookstore. Have a good week and Happy Reading!
Carla
I sure hope you can figure out what is causing those headaches, Kimberly. Have a wonderful week.
vidya
Hope the weather and those headaches clear up soon.. And you can enjoy the books you have on your shelf..
sjhigbee
Urg! Rain, fog, sleet, snow and headaches??? That truly sounds like a dire week, Kimberly. Thank goodness for enjoyable books and TV series! Let’s hope this coming week is a whole lot better, particularly on the headache front. Fingers crossed they get to the bottom of them.
Emma @ Words And Peace
I hope the doctor finds the clue to relieve you from your headaches
Meezan
I’m planning to watch The Mandalorian in May during Star Wars month. I have to limit myself to just May for Star Wars, otherwise I immerse myself too much into it for too long. Lol. I hope you and your family have a better week this week. 🙂
Lauren @ My Expanding Bookshelf
Hope you’re feeling better soon!
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
I’m sorry to hear about Clayton’s croup. That can be so scary. And I hope your OBGYN is able to help with the headaches, or direct you to someone who can.
sherry fundin
I’ve had terrible headaches this week too. Tons of pollen coating everything. I wonder if my allergies are part of the problem. Hope you feel better soon.
Jamie @ The Fantasy Princess
Hope you don’t have any headaches this week! It’s been pretty nice out here lately, although I keep hoping for snow. Have a great week!
Jinjer
I’m curious to find out about your headaches, too, because I get really bad headaches here in Arkansas whenever the barometric pressure changes due to incoming rain / fog etc.
Daisy Jones is on my TBW list!
Rachel @Waves of Fiction
Sorry to hear you’ve been dealing with headaches! I hope you’re able to get to the bottom of the cause and alleviate them somehow!
BonnieReadsAndWrites
I used to get the croup when was a kid (A long time ago). Back then, my mom would put Vicks in a pot of hot water and have me stand over it with a towel over my head. A homemade vaporizer!
Sophia Rose
Poor kiddo, the croup is miserable and so are daily headaches. Hope they can help you with those. Wild weather this past week.
Have a good week, Kimberly!
joanne
Hope your headaches get better. Mine have eased up but I know from recent experience how it can be.
Mareli Thalwitzer
Hormones can be such a b.i.t.c.h. with headaches! I do hope they can get it sorted out soon for you.
Good for you for catching up on reviews – I’m endlessly behind at this stage!
Lover of Romance
oh no, you are still having headaches? Those are the WORST! I hope your doctor can figure out why. I am very excited for that upcoming Zanetti, she has done so good with these romantic thrillers.
Sophie
I really hope the OBGYN can help you Kimberly! And our weather has been atrocious this week. Sending hugs!
Shelleyrae @ Book’d Out
I hope you find the doctor helpful.
Wishing you a great reading week
Jodie
I hope they determine what is causing your headaches and you feel better soon. I also wish that Clayton heals quickly. I’m also loving Daisy Jones and The Six and hope that you enjoy The Good Luck Cafe as much as I did. Have a great week!
S. J. Pajonas
I am ultra-caffeinated lately because I just never got back my energy after having covid last year. Sorry to hear about the headaches. Hormone headaches hit me a lot too. Hopefully you can figure it out.
Erin @ Cracker Crumb Life
Oh no!! I am glad to hear that Clayton is feeling better!
The weather here has been ick as well. I am ready for sunny, warm days!
Aj @ Read All The Things!
I hope you and Clayton feel better soon! Have a great week.
Cindy Davis
Nice book haul, interesting assortment of books. It has been a weird weather week here as well. I have had quite a few headaches and this morning I have pressure in my eyes. Have a great week!
A Voracious Reader
I hope you get some relief from the headaches. Though I agree that the weather changes could have contributed. Mother Nature be trippin’ balls because it’s actually snowing here in NC at this moment. Not much, but it’s still snow. lol
Jessica @ a GREAT read
Sorry to hear about Clayton! Hope he feels better soon! Hope your doctor appointment goes well too and they can find a way to help the headaches! A reader should never have to suffer through a headache!
Nice new reads! All totally new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them all!
Here’s my StS

From one caffeine addict to another: good to have stumbled across your blog. Nice and lively and book focussed. Looking foirward to reading more.
Tessa
It’s been yucky here too! Perfect weather for reading. It looks like we both got Whispers at Dusk this week. Hope we each enjoy it. And, fingers-crossed they figure out the cause of your headaches!
Emily @Budget Tales Book Blog
I hope that you all get well soon. We had snow on one day (which had disappeared by the afternoon) then its been rain, sleet and sun!
Have a good week next week!
Mark
Were you as surprised as I was by where the Mandalorian ended last week? I wasn’t expecting that until the end of the season.
Rejitha
A mixed weather can really bring headache. Hope you feel better soon.
Also, Nevermore Bookstore sounds quite interesting.
Lisa Mandina (Lisa Loves Literature)
Ooh, Nevermore Bookstore looks good! It was rainy and yucky here most of the end of the week. Still going to be cold this week, but I think the rain might be gone after tomorrow for a little while at least. Hope everyone is feeling better this week!
Wendy
Poor Clayton, I’m glad he’s starting to feel better. I hope you figure out the cause of your headache’s soon, Kimberly.
Lori
I am so glad you are going to the doctor. The weather being a mixed bag of yuck sure wasn’t good either. It is snowing here now with more on the way. I am so ready for Sping. Take Care of YOU!
