Today, my youngest, the Royal’s mommy, celebrates her birthday. There might be cake. I signed Sophia up for baking classes for the next three Mondays. She had her first one this week and learned how to make and decorate sugar cookies. Bonus- she gets to bring home what she creates so everyone got to enjoy sugar cookies. This week is cake from fondant to pipping icing. Yum. Stay cool, stay healthy and Stay Caffeinated.

That’s so cool that she is taking a baking class. Hopefully she is old enough not to put the entire bowl of frosting on one cookie and to have sanitary habits like not liking the icing knife or her fingers on all of them as toddlers did at one of my daughter’s birthday parties. We had separate frosting bowls for each one. There was also the entire bottle of sprinkles dumped on one cookie issue. lol They had fun and definitely liked cookies more than cake at that age. And ice cream.

How fun that Sophia is learning to bake and best wishes for her mama. Have a good week, Kimberly!

Is that a new Stephen King book? I will have to check that out. And yummy! Sugar cookies with icing and then cake icing are my favorite sweets. I wanted to take cake decorating classes, but knew I’d just want to eat the icing, lol. Have a great week!
Vi @Inkvotary
That´s always the best part when children go to a cooking class and bring home what they´ve created. Yumm! Happy belated birthday to your daughter. I wish you a wonderful new week and happy reading.

Jessica @ a GREAT read
Happy Birthday to your daughter! And how fun for Sophia! Ironically, I remember my first cooking class in school our first project was sugar cookies too! Lol. Of course, I had that class firs thing in the morning, so I rarely ever wanted to eat anything that I helped cook since I ate breakfast before school. Lol.
Nice new reads! Those are new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them all!
