I went half of Sunday before I remembered time had even changed. My state is now trying to change it so it no longer changes. We’ll see. Have a good week!
Kimberly
Our is too, as is Congress. Since we don’t plan to retire here, I really hope it happens nationally.
Carole @ Carole's Random Life
I resent losing that hour of sleep as well. Have a great week!
vidya
The cover of Below Zero looks so cool (no pun intended!!).. and I am seriously jetlagging as well (what one hour can do…)
Tyler H. Jolley
Hey Kimba! Sorry I’ve been a little MIA lately–things have been crazy busy. I’m with you, I like the sunlight, but the first week is so hard to adjust! Happy Reading!
Kimberly
Hey Tyler. I hope all is well. I am dragging today…lol
Mary Kirkland
I kinda like it when it’s dark at 4pm. lol
Wendy
One thing I enjoy about living in Arizona is that we don’t change the clocks! Have a great week, Kimberly.
Emma @ Words And Peace
I know one hour less of sleep (and thus of reading!) is tough, but I also enjoy then enjoying light longer in the day.
Lots of nice books coming your way, enjoy!
MarthaE
I went upstairs a little after 12am thinking that was good until hubby explained it was after 1am. I didn’t know anything about it. I resent it too.
Nice book haul for you. Remarkably Bright Creatures cover catches my eye.
Enjoy your week and Happy Reading!
Carla
I agree, Kimberly. I hate losing that hour whether it is sleeping or reading. Enjoy all your new arrivals.
Sophia @ Bookwyrming Thoughts
I woke up this morning feeling oddly weirded out on why it wasn’t 7am when it hit me that it was Daylight Savings again. I also hate losing the hour of sleep (but I mean… I guess I’ll be used to it in a few weeks).
Shelleyrae @ Book’d Out
We have about a month left of daylight savings, I hate losing it.
Enjoy the sunshine, wishing you a great reading week
sherry fundin
have a great week kim
Sophia Rose
Yes, the first few days of it I’m ungrateful, but then start to love having longer daytime hours.
Rachel @Waves of Fiction
Yep, not pleased with losing that hour either! I want that Ali Hazelwood! Have a good week, Kimberly! 🙂
Anne - Books of My Heart
The spring ahead is rough, the fall back is easier but I wish they would just leave it alone.
Angela (Angel's Guilty Pleasures)
I do so dislike having to spring forward or fall back on the clocks. I have to remember which ones change on their own. ^_^ Have a great week and happy reading!
CJRTB Books
Our clocks don’t change until the end of the month but I’m not looking forward to it!!
Lover of Romance
Yeah I feel the same way as well. I mean I don’t like the sun being up till 10 PM haha but I feel like right when it changes is how I like things and then it takes a while for my body to adjust. lol
Hope you have a great week.
Victoria Hamel
I was thinking today that if we are going to have to spring forward, why don’t all the schools have spring break that coincides with the loss of the hour to make life easier for many people!
Louise Hallett
Our clocks don’t change for another couple of weeks and I’m not looking forward to losing that hour of sleep either. I keep seeing Below Zero, clearly a book I should find out more about! Stay safe.
LORI CASWELL
Rough night here too! Plus it has been snowing, not very spring-like!
vvb
Have a good week!
Samantha
Spring Forward always messes me up for like a week. It is brutal! Thanks for sharing my post!
Lisa Mandina (Lisa Loves Literature)
All I can think is thank goodness I had the two snow days before this weekend so I don’t feel like I’ve lost the extra hour of sleep as much. lol The new Ali Hazelwood book looks good! I just bought the first in the novellas on audio to listen to!
Oh yeah, somehow I ended up with two entries in the linky above. One with some words after my name, In Harmony? That I have no idea why those are there. I can’t figure out how to delete that #37 entry for me. Sorry! Hope you have a good week!
Lola
Our clocks go forward over two weeks, not looking forward to losing that hour of sleep. Have a good week!
Sarah
Yes! I hate the loss of an hour in Spring, and then the extra hour in Fall. It messes with the sleep cycle.
Patricia in New Mexico
Thank you for sharing about Luna’s Hideout! I appreciate your suggestion to read her series in order and for the backlist of her books. Happy Reading!
Berls
I know 😢. I get why we do it – Stephanie shared a graphic with me that showed sun coming up at like 3am and going down at 4pm at parts of the year if we didn’t – which sounds awful! – but I also really resent the lost hour of sleep. At least we don’t have to remember to do it manually anymore and all out devices do it for us!
Have a great week!
Vi @Inkvotary
We will do that during the last March weekend *sigh*
Erin @ Cracker Crumb Life
Oh I love the cover for Remarkably Bright Creatures!
A Voracious Reader
Oh, shit. I completely forgot about losing an hour last night. LOL When are the people we elected going to remove DST? It’s ridiculous.
Jamie @ The Fantasy Princess
I like having more sunlight too but don’t like losing an hour sleep either. 🙂 Have a great week!
Jen at Introverted Reader
I agree about the time change. I usually feel terrible for a week or two after we spring forward.
Enjoy your week!
S. J. Pajonas
Goodness, I hate losing that hour of sleep too. I’m sure it’ll catch up to me by Tuesday.
Jessica @ a GREAT read
Yeah, I am not feeling today with losing an hour. I’m still confused as to why we acknowledge this since the sun will still be out even if it was still almost 8am right now. Of course, we’re a little cloudy today anyway, so no sun here!
Nice new reads! Those are all new to me ones but I hope you enjoy each and every one of them!
Here’s my StS
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower 🙂
Cindy Davis
I am feeling that lost hour of sleep! I even went to bed a bit earlier than I normally would so I wouldn’t feel it, didn’t quite work that way, LOL. Enjoy your books!
Emily @ Budget Tales Book Blog
We change our clocks on 27 March – the same day as Mother’s Day! What a joke 😂 hopefully my 3 year old has some lovely plans to make up for it 😂🤣
Mia @ Genre Books and Me
Thanks for the time reminder! This is the first time I can remember that I didn’t change the clocks before going to bed. Oh well….
Glad to see a new Evanovich series, hope it’s good! I used to read Stephanie Plum up until about book 13. And that cover on I’m the Girl- wow!
Greg
I almost forgot about Daylight Savings! It snuck up on me this year. 🙂
Love the look of the new Courtney Summers. I didn’t know about that one.
Have a great Sunday Kimba!
Mareli Thalwitzer
I still say daylight saving is a much better option than loadshedding! Only in Africa I know… We were on stage 4 loadshedding for a couple of days this week (around 7.5 hours without any electricity).
Let’s rather not complain. At least we have peace…
Have a good week Kimberly and all your new books look so enticing!
Sophie
I hate daylight savings! We have one or two more weeks before it happens to us here. Have a great week Kimberly
stargazer
We haven’t switched to daylight saving here yet (unless I missed it!) and like you I’m not a fan of missing an hour’s sleep. I’ve heard good things about Ali Hazelwood’s books, hope you will enjoy Below Zero.
Linda @ (un)Conventional Bookworms
You already switched to daylight saving? I think we do that at the very end of March here. At least I know it’s not this weekend…
Have a wonderful week ahead, and happy reading.
jessicabookworm
I hate losing that hour too, Kimberly! However we don’t change our clocks in the UK till 27th March. Take care and happy reading. 🙂
Tessa
I have The Recovery Agent and I’m The Girl. I so excited to read them. Hope you have a wonderful week!
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
I’m a bit grumpy about the time change, too. I’d rather stay on standard time. But we’ll all adjust in a few days or weeks, I guess.
Your new books look good. Enjoy, and have a good week despite the early start!
Yvonne @ Socrates Book Reviews
Hope you enjoy your books and have a great week!
Diana @ Book of Secrets
Below Zero has the coziest cover. Love it! Yep, falling back is a much easier adjustment for me.
Laurel-Rain Snow
I almost forgot about the time change! I do hate the changing of the clocks!
Enjoy your week.
