He’s tantalizing trouble she can’t resist…
Charlotte Parrish has always wanted a certain kind of man: someone responsible, settled, boring. Bad boys need not apply. But when her car leaves her stranded and a mysterious stranger with brooding eyes and a protective streak comes to her rescue, she can’t deny how drawn she is to him. In town searching for family he’s never met, Mitch is everything she never thought she wanted—and suddenly everything she craves.
Finding his half brothers after all these years is more than Mitch Crews has allowed himself to wish for. Finding love never even crossed his mind…until he meets Charlotte. She’s sweet, warmhearted, sexier than she knows—and too damn good for an ex-con like him. But when his past comes back to haunt him, putting Charlotte—and the family he’s come to care for—in danger, Mitch isn’t playing by the rules. He’s already surrendered his heart, but now he’ll risk his life.
All Fired Up by Lori Foster, the third book in her Road to Love series had all the elements I love in a good romantic suspense. Foster sprinkled in a sweet heroine and a hero worthy of redemption. Buckle up because All Fired Up delivered a heartfelt, intense tale that delivered all the feels.
Hands down my favorite of the series, not just because I wanted Charlotte Parrish to get her story, but because Mitch Crews deserved a happily ever-after. I am a sucker for a hero who doesn’t know he’s worthy.
Mitch is a Crew and looks just like his Dad. He is also an ex-con, but he wants to meet his half-brothers and more than anything desires family. What he didn’t count on was Charlotte.
I loved this story from the way it unfolded to the way the Crews reacted to Mitch, especially Ros, their Mom. She is one heck of a woman. Mitch has an adorable puppy named Brute that you’ll soon be swooning over too! From brotherly talks to doggie introductions, I loved each encounter.
Trouble follows Mitch, and he’s willing to run to protect everyone, but if you’ve read the previous books you know the brothers, their wives, Mom and Charlotte will never allow it. Mitch the local police chief, Elliot their father and some locals all get involved.
Foster does a great job of sharing Mitch’s past, developing the relationship and building up the suspense angle. The connection between Charlotte and Mitch felt genuine and I couldn’t help but root for them.
While each of the books will work as standalone, I recommend reading them in order and meeting each of the brothers and the rest of the clan.
The story wrapped up wonderfully and I cannot help but wonder if this was the last book in the series. It will be sad to say goodbye to the Crews, but Foster left me grinning.
All Fired Up by Lori Foster was my favorite of the Road to Love series with swoon-worthy hero and adorable pup named Brute. #romance #RoadtoLove #NewRelease Share on X

This sounds like a wonderful series Kim. Mitch. sounds like a sweetheart. I love when a male lead doesn’t realize he’s worthy and just needs the right girl to come along and show him he is also :). Lori Foster is such an amazing author 🙂 :Lovely Review!
