I love romances filled with wicked banter, humor and food. Nuts by Alice Clayton combines all three with heat delivering a seriously fun romp. Nuts is the first book in the Hudson Valley series and it left me wanting to pack my bags and move to rural upstate New York in search of zucchini.

If I Were You by Lisa Renee Jones is the first book in her Inside Out contemporary romance series. With darker sexual elements and comparisons to Fifty Shades (which I have not read), I was unsure, but so many of my friends loved this series, so I settled in and to my surprise devoured this in only two sittings. It ends with a cliffhanger consider yourself warned.

After reading Flirting with Fire by Kate Meader, the first novel in the Hot in Chicago series I was hoping we would get more of Firefighter Gage Simpson and Brady Smith the guarded, tattooed chef. The heat and humor from their first introduction had me craving more. Melting Point delivered their complicated, emotional and heated romance.
