Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige

I was excited to read Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige and chose to listen to the audio version. The tale introduces us to Amy Gumm from Kansas who finds herself in Oz. Only it is not the place she remembers from the movie she and her mother use to watch. In fact, something is terribly wrong. Paige twists Oz into a dark place filled with nightmares, and I found myself quickly immersed in this world.

The Janus Affair by Philippa Ballantine, and Tee Morris

In the Janus Affair, we once again join the duo of Eliza Braun and Wellington Books, officers at the Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences in Britain. It was a fantastic ride filled with murder, missing persons and revelations. They are traveling home aboard Britain’s latest hypersteam train when the hair rises on the back of Eliza’s neck. Sixth Grave on the Edge by Darynda Jones

So I ordered Sixth Grave on the Edge by Darynda Jones the moment it was available for pre-order and cracked this puppy open when it downloaded at 2 am. *SQUEE!* I read the first chapter, hugged my Nook and went to bed. Shadow Spell by Nora Roberts

Shadow Spell is the second book in the Cousins O’Dwyer Trilogy by Nora Roberts and once again we are back in Ireland as the descendants of the Dark Witch and their friends work to defeat the evil sorcerer named Cabhan. This is not a series to be read out of order, although Roberts does an excellent job of recapping. Mini review: Paranormal as only Roberts can do from spells to swoon-worthy kisses.

Doctor Who: Dead Air by James Goss

If you have been staying Caffeinated then you know I am a huge fan of Doctor Who and that David Tennant is one of my favorite doctors. I was home sick with a nasty chest cold and feeling quite sorry for myself when the email came in from audible for their daily deal. An exclusive BBC Doctor Who story called Dead Air written by James Gross and narrated by David Tennant. Within seconds, I made my purchase and snuggled in my bed on that cold March morning feeling suddenly chipper at the thought of David telling me a story!
