Hard to Come By the third book in the Hard Ink series by Laura Kaye is hands down one of my favorites. Derek and Emile’s story is sweet and hot and we gain more insight into the overall ARC situation. I love spending time with this motley band of brothers and the woman who steal their hearts.

Maybe This Christmas by Sarah Morgan
I have loved reading Sarah Morgan’s O’Neil Brothers series. I started the series last year with Sleigh Bells in the Snow during the Ho-Ho-Ho Read-a-thon so it was only fitting that I ended it with Maybe This Christmas during this year’s read-a-thon. Some of my favorite romances are small-town, family oriented like Robyn Carr’s Virgin River series and Bella Andre’s Sullivans. Morgan offered up wonderful brothers, a ski resort in Snow Crystal, Vermont and just the right amount of heat for a chilly winter’s night.
Silent Night by C.J. Kyle
Are you looking for a little something different to read this holiday season? Silent Night by C.J. Kyle offers up a suspenseful thriller set in the small town of Christmas, Tennessee. It comes complete with a serial killer, a woman on a mission and a sexy police chief trying to protect the innocent. Suspenseful with a side dish of slow-burning romance Silent Night, was an engaging holiday read.
A Cursed Bloodline by Cecy Robson
A Cured Bloodline is the fourth book in Cecy Robson’s Weird Girls one of my current favorite series. It is urban fantasy series-featuring sisters who have unique abilities and takes place in the Lake Tahoe region. In A Cursed Bloodline, Robson splayed my heart open, chewed it and then carefully stitched it back together again.
Gunpowder Alchemy by Jeannie Lin
I love steampunk and was excited at the idea of exploring China’s Qing Dynasty. In Gunpowder Alchemy, the first in the Gunpowder Chronicles, Jeannie Lin introduces a strong heroine and captivating storyline filled with steampunk goodness, adventure and a slow-building romance.
