In Wildfire in His Arms author Johanna Lindsey shares the romance of a dangerous and sexy gunslinger named Degan Grant. Degan first appeared in her novel One Heart to Win. While this is a standalone, I must admit the mention of characters from the previous novel have me adding it to my list. What a wild time I had as Wildfire In His Arms takes us to the wild west with suspense, snark and wicked banter.
The Rose Red Bride by Claire Delacroix
The Rose Red Bride by Claire Delacroix is the second book in her Jewels of Kinfairlie series. I have been enjoying these medieval romances set in Scotland. Poor Alexander, Laird of Kinfairlie did not quite learn his lesson with the eldest sister because folks, he is at it again. Delacroix’s Jewels of Kinfairlie series is such a fun, uncomplicated listen and I have been enjoying the voice of narrator Saskia Maarleveld with her Scottish lilt.
The Bedding Proposal by Tracy Anne Warren
The Bedding Proposal is the first in Tracy Anne Warren’s new Rakes of Cavendish Square. While the Rake on the cover only looks sixteen *snort* I do love a delicious tale involving rakes and dove in. Fleshed out characters, wicked banter and obstacles made this romance a treat!
The Beauty Bride by Claire Delacroix
It has been quite some time since I have read a medieval era romance. I was delighted for the chance to listen to The Beauty Bride by Claire Delacroix. This is the first novel in her Jewels of Kinfairlie series featuring unwed sisters and a brother who must marry them off post haste. Fairies, a stranger, danger and deceit had us racing across the countryside and falling for Rhys FitzHenry.
If the Viscount Falls by Sabrina Jeffries
If the Viscount Falls is the fourth and final, book in Sabrina Jeffries Duke’s Men series. Finally, we get Dominick Manton story and with it we get second chance romance, a little mystery and updates on previous characters. Jeffries kept me engaged as I hoped for happily ever after.
