Disobedience by Alvania Scarborough is the first novel in the Harker’s Hell series. It is an intriguing blend of science fiction and romantic suspense. I found myself completely caught up in its Old West world and historical romance vibe. A simmering romance, humor and a mystery threaded throughout the tale had me flipping the pages. Fresh, original and genre bending Scarborough gave me one heck of an adventure.
Becoming Rain by K.A. Tucker
Becoming Rain by K.A. Tucker is the second book in the Burying Water series and while this is dubbed new adult it could very easily fall in the adult romantic suspense genre. Undercover FBI, romance, fancy cars and swoon-worthy moments had me quickly lost myself within its pages.
Deadly, Calm, and Cold by Susannah Sandlin
Deadly, Calm and Cold is the second book in the Collectors series by Susannah Sandlin and I was lucky enough to win the audio edition. Romantic suspense that shares a deadly game with ordinary folks as pawns in a rich man’s game of treasure hunt I quickly became caught up in the tale and couple.
Beyond Limits by Laura Griffin
Beyond Limits by Laura Griffin is the eighth book in her Tracers series featuring FBI agent Elizabeth LeBlanc. Despite not reading any of the previous novels, I was able to jump right in and enjoyed this action packed romantic suspense. A second chance romance and terroristic threat on US soil kept me flipping the pages.
One Kiss More by Mandy Baxter
One Kiss More is the second book in the U.S. Marshals series by Mandy Baxter. Romantic suspense with banter and a little heat had me quickly caught up and I consumed this in a single afternoon.
