I am so glad I listened to this delightful, well executed historical fiction featuring a fearless heroine and a swoon-worthy romance.

The Levee shares the story of four men who boarded a tiny boat to rescue a family trapped on an island. This heartfelt tale of man vs nature pulled me in.
A Tempest at Sea by Sherry Thomas was one of my most anticipated audiobook releases for 2023. This is the seventh Lady Sherlock novel in the historical mysteries series featuring Charlotte Holmes. Thomas delivered as Charlotte and company find themselves on board the RMS Provence with her mother and a murderer. The game is afoot.
