It was with sadness that I began reading Cold Curses by Chloe Neill, as it is the last book in the Heirs of Chicagoland series. Neill delivered an action-packed, snarky, swoon-worthy and satisfactory ending.
I am continuing to listen to the October Daye series narrated by Mary Robinette Kowal with The Unkindest Tide by Seanan McGuire. The Selkies made a deal with the sea witch and it’s time to pay their debt. Once again Toby will be tested, as will the Luidaeg.
More Than A Little Warped by Annette Marie & Rob Jacobsen is a novella in the Guild Codex Warped series and while I had read it, before listening to the fourth audiobook, I decided to listen. While this is a novella I strongly recommend listening between books three and four.
Long Past Dues by James J. Butcher is the second audiobook in the Unorthodox Chronicles narrated by James Patrick Cronin. Grimsby, is now the newest Auditor in the magical Department of Unorthodox Affairs. Turns out it isn’t at all like he expected. Unique cases and an awkward hero await you.
