Next Year in Havana by Chanel Cleeton is quite the departure from Cleeton’s contemporary romance series, but she delivered a rich, detailed historical fiction with an air of mystery and a look into Cuba’s history, culture, and people.
Watchmaker’s Heart by Juli D. Revezzo
The Watchmaker’s Heart by Juli D. Revezzo delivered a historical romance with steampunk elements and a nice bit of suspenseful mystery. Penelope “Phoebe” Lockswell is a bit of a tinkerer and has created a somewhat scandalous diffuser. I enjoyed this feisty heroine, and Revezzo quickly pulled me into this tale.
Tides of Honour by Genevieve Graham
Travel to 1917 with Tides of Honour by Genevieve Graham and narrated by Fajer Al-Kaisi. There you’ll become caught up in WWI, the suffragist movement, and a touching love story. Graham quickly pulled me in and endeared me to these characters as she transported me in time.
About That Kiss by Jill Shalvis
About That Kiss by Jill Shalvis is the fifth novel in the Heartbreaker Bay series and once again Shalvis transported me to this quaint little community and pulled me into Kylie and Joe’s story. It was fun seeing these sexy, and stubborn characters tumble.
Leveled by Cathryn Fox
Leveled by Cathyrn Fox is the second book in the Blue Bay Crew series about brothers who return home after their father passes to save the family construction business. Each features a brother and their romance. Fox delivered a quick, sweet and deliciously hot story that will melt your Kindle..
