I love Delilah S. Dawson’s brand of creepy horror and grabbed her newest thriller, House of Idyll. In this standalone fiction, Angelina Yves, a struggling singer/songwriter, is offered the chance to join an experimental luxury compound sponsored by the most famous band in the world, Black Idyll. Dawson delivered a dark, wicked and atmospheric tale that I devoured.

I had ordered the ebook and was waiting to see if it would whispersync for audio, when Hearne offered me a code and I immediately dove in. I absolutely love Luke Daniels’ narration of Hearne’s stories and was excited to listen to both Dawson’s and Wendig’s offerings. At just under eight hours, you’ll want to add this to your audio library.
No Country for Old Gnomes by Delilah S. Dawson and Kevin Hearne is the second novel in the Tales of Pell. This is not a continuation and works on its own. Fans of Monty Python will delight in this fantasy universe.
