Never Flinch by Stephen King, narrated by Jessie Mueller is the fourth audiobook featuring Holly Gibney. Holly is an intuitive private investigator who has been featured in previous King novels included the Mr. Mercedes trilogy, Holly, & the Outsider. While admittedly not my favorite King novel, I found myself drawn to the case and devoured Never Flinch.
Her First Mistake by Kendra Elliot is the first novel in the Noelle Marsall series. If you’ve read the Mary Kilpatrick & Columbia River series, you’ll remember Noelle. Noelle is a detective for the Deschutes County sheriff’s office, whose husband was murdered in an unsolved home invasion years ago. A suspenseful introduction to the series that is not to be missed.

In this alternate Portland, Oregon tale, life and death magic wielders, Shame & Terric must help Terric’s sister and stop someone killing magics. Fast-paced with plenty of twist, this series just keeps getting better.
Wicching Hour by Seana Kelly is the third audiobook in the Sea Wicche Chronicles, an urban fantasy cozy mystery series with romances, witches, magic and police investigations. Arwyn Cassandra Corey, the Sea Wicche of Monterey and daughter of fae has her gallery opening, is tracking down a witch with dark purpose and is dealing with a serial killer. Oh, did I mention she has a stalker?
