The Eternity Cure by Julie Kagawa

Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa was on my top ten list for young-adult reads in 2012. Earlier this year I read the novella Dawn of Edena prequel to book one that was dark and gritty. Scowler by Daniel Kraus

Scowler without a doubt was the scariest and darkest book I have ever read in the young adult genre. It makes I Hunt Killers look like Sesame Street. Against the Odds by Kat Martin

Kat Martin always entertains me with her ex-military alpha males and the woman who finally win their playboy hearts. Against the Odds is the seventh book from the Raines of Wind Canyon series but don’t let that scare you as each works as a standalone. In this novel we get smexy Alex Justice story and a side story regarding his sister and a totally lovable carpenter. Filled with action, suspense and a hot sizzling romance with just enough heat I quickly consumed this.

On Dublin Street by Samantha Young

On Dublin Street was in my TBR pile for a good four months before I dug it out for the Take Control challenge in March and I am glad it is one of the books I selected. Young offers up complex characters, a fantastic setting and weaves it all together to create a romance that swept me away.
