Crave is the first in the Undone series by Jennifer Dawson. I love Jen’s Something New series and was excited to dive into Crave. Fleshed out characters and surprising depth this story will have you falling for Layla and Michael. I absolutely enjoyed their slow-building edgy romance.
Overruled by Emma Chase
I absolutely adored the Tangled series and Drew Evans, so I was a tad nervous going into Overruled the first novel in Emma Chase’s new The Legal Briefs series. Ultimately, I ended up falling for these characters as Chase made me shake my head, laugh aloud and swoon when Stanton finally figured it all out.
Dissident by Cecilia London
Dissident by Cecilia London is the first in the Bellator Saga a six-part series featuring full-length novels. It begins on the cusp of a dystopian world. Dissident teases us with what is to come while we get to know two key characters.
Black Iris by Leah Raeder
Dark, twisted and unexpected Black Iris by Leah Raeder grabs hold of the reader and does not let go. I was pleased to have the opportunity to review the audio version of Black Iris narrated by Grace Grant. From its unreliable narrator to the dark, jaw dropping twists this dark, suspenseful tale is one you will not soon forget.
German Potato Salad & Searching for Beautiful by Jennifer Probst
Today on Recipe and a Book Recommendation I am sharing my grandmother’s recipe for Potato Salad. It is the perfect side dish for a summer picnic. I am also sharing the third book in Jennifer Probst’s Searching for Series, Searching for Beautiful. Each of these adult contemporaries can be read as standalone. With ratings over 4.0 on Goodreads and Amazon this series is perfect to take along on vacation.
