Puppies and kittens! Most Likely to Score written by Lauren Blakely and narrated by Zackery Webber and Andi Arndt delivered a delicious romance with heart and heat.
Binding Magick by Debbie Cassidy
I’ve been devouring urban fantasy and when the first in the Witch Blood Chronicles came out on audio, I couldn’t resist. Binding Magick by Debbie Cassidy delivered an interesting start to the series with snark and a good-willed protagonist who lacks magic but finds herself in a bargain with a djinn.
Midnight Blue-Light Special by Seanan McGuire
Midnight Blue-Light Special by Seanan McGuire is the second novel in her InCryptid urban fantasy series. Wildly imaginative and everything an urban fantasy should be, I was soon pulled back into the world. Monsters, danger and an action-packed storyline along with Emily Bauer’s narration made this the perfect listen.
Deja Moo by Kirsten Weiss
Deja Moo by Kirsten Weiss is the third book in the Perfectly Proper Paranormal Museum series and I was drawn to the series because of the paranormal museum. I just love strange oddities and cursed objects. Don’t you? A burning cow, cursed bells, and murder have our heroine and her mother investigating. A touch of romance, humor and meddling mommas offered up a suspenseful and fun tale.
How to Date Your Dragon by Molly Harper
I’ve only listened to a novella by Molly Harper, and blogging friends have encouraged me to try more, so when How to Date Your Dragon, the first in the Mystic Bayou series became available I knew it was time. I am so glad that I did. I loved the town of Mystic Bayou, and it’s inhabitants. Harper quickly pulled me in, as did the stellar narration.
