With all the rain we’ve had this week, May flowers should be abundant. Parts of the state saw flash floods and rain is in the forecast almost every day for the next ten days. On the plus side, everything is green. Clayton started his baseball game this week. The next two months will be busy with multiple games per week. The news still reads like a dystopian with lots of doublethink. Stay strong. Stay Caffeinated and spread kindness.

Yay for Clayton! It rained all week here and everything is green as well though my grass seriously needed to be mowed! Have a great week!

Stay strong. Stay Caffeinated and spread kindness. Is a great saying. I like.
I’ve been avoiding the internet, social media, and news. It’s been so disheartening. I’ve been focusing on me and my family. Haven’t don a lot of blogging either. That’s great that Clayton has baseball. I hope he has fun. Enjoy the week!

Stay strong. Stay Caffeinated and spread kindness. I like that.. you can probably sell tote bags with that.

The Librarians cover is certainly interesting (guns and libraries don’t typically go together). Makes me curious.

Hallo, Hallo,
I’m glad someone is enjoying a bit of Spring this year. For my family, it has been one affliction after another and hasn’t been a season of wellness by half. However, I’m hoping this next week will start to turn things around. Plus, I’m excited for Wyrd And Wonder — as it is always a wicked good month of reading Fantasy, celebrating Fantasy and engaging with the community of readers who make the event worthwhile.

We had quite a bit of rain over the last few weeks, but this week looks like less wet so we can get out and get some stuff done. Enjoy the ball games and have a good week, Kimberly!

We’ve had some good weather and everything is fresh and green. Some sun, some clouds and a little bit of rain. Time to start getting a little bit of Vitamin D from the sun.
Mary Kirkland
Ohh a Christine Feehan book. I’m going to have to get that one. I love her books. We haven’t had any rain for while.
Carla@CarlaLovesToRead
Spring has sprung here. The tulips and daffodils are blooming which I love. My yard is yellow, from all the dandelions. I am feeding the bees. I am not a fan of rain during the day, but let it come at night. I hope you get some sun and the rain stops so there isn’t anymore flooding. Enjoy your week, Kimberly.
Sophie
The news reading like dystopian is an acurate description unfortunately Kimberly! I hope next week will come with sun for you.

Rain for the next 10 days is crazy! And WE had pouring rain yesterday…in L.A…in April! What????
Rolé @ Hooked By That Book
Our weather is up and down. We had a couple of warm days and now it’s cloudy and colder again. But the snow is gone, at least. Hope you have a wonderful week.
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
It’s green and lovely here, too, although it’s getting hotter. Today is nice and cool, but 80s are predicted for the rest of the week. I hope Clayton and the whole family enjoy his games.
Your description of the news is uncomfortably accurate.
Lisa Mandina (Lisa Loves Literature)
My peonies are getting ready to bloom I think! Yeah, all this rain is also making it hard to mow, and my little doggies need that grass shorter, lol.
Rachel @Waves of Fiction
The news does feel dystopian! We’ve been having rain here too and so I’ve been indoors doing puzzles, while listening to an audiobook, of course! It’s nice that Clayton is busy with baseball. It’s good to keep kids busy! Have a wonderful week, Kimberly!
Anne - Books of My Heart
I hope you are feeling better. There’s nothing like relaxing summer baseball. Kids, not pro. I think the worst of the dystopian world will hit mid May as things start to run out and aren’t available because our trading partners don’t trust our government and have made new trade deals with other countries.

We could use some of that rain since we didn’t get much of what was forecasted, but I don’t really want it. Even though we need it. Because I don’t want my renovations slowed down. lol Although everything is under roof now, but drywall and such will need to be carried in then windows and patio door installed, etc etc. Stay dry and take a break from the news for a bit. I told my daughter to stop doomscrolling. It isn’t good for her already shaky mental health, but there are plenty of people out there fighting for democracy that we can take a break and shouldn’t feel bad about it. You have to take care of yourself before you can take care of others. {{{hugs}}}
Kimberly
Yes. I limit myself to once a day…but everyday is CRAZY! My senators probably all know me by name now…lol
Steph
I love that everything is getting so green…Seeing all the flowers makes me so happy!
Becki
Friday night we had crazy storms! The theatre director was in a panic about the power going out, but we got away with just a few small leaks on the stage and auditorium, and the show was able to go on 🙂
Emma @ Words And Peace
I hope your Spring gets better tahn it looks now for your description
Jodie
I love the green that is spring as well! I love the cover for The Librarians. I love the years my son played baseball – wonderful memories. Have a great week ahead.
Kimberly
Hoping you get to experience it again with grandchildren.
Jessica @ a GREAT read
Oh nice! hope Clayton has fun with baseball! We have definitely been getting our fair share of April storms as well, so hopefully the May flowers will be beautiful!
Nice new reads! These are new to me ones but I do remember Feehan’s name from my RT Convention days! Hope you enjoy both of these!
Here’s my StS

Hmmm…The Librarians? Only quiet murders allowed? Hmmm…
Kimberly
One of my most anticipated books. I love her Lady Sherlock books.
Jill
I used to love reading dystopian books but I had to take a break because they are too much like real life now.
Kimberly
Yes. I did a relisten of 1984. I hadn’t done so since my last was in high school. Wow did that hit home with the banning of books, words etc.
Lola
We’ve had a bit of rain this week, but after the many weeks without any I think we could use some more. At least things are looking a bit greener. I hope Clayton enjoys his baseball games.
Lori
Crazy weather here too. The grands are starting their baseball games too.
As for the country I wake up every morning wondering what horrible thing he will do next.
We have to make our voices heard.
Have all the fun you can this week.
Yvonne @ Socrates Book Reviews
Good luck to Clayton and the baseball games. I hope you have a great week
Laurel-Rain Snow
Your weather sounds promising for those May flowers. The news is too grim for me, so I try to avoid the worst of it!
Have a great week.
