We had a very rainy week, with lots of local flooding, thunderstorms and wild changes in temperatures. The kids started their summer vacation, so it’s my busy season….lol. I’ve got family visiting and we’ve taken Tuesday off, giving us a four-day weekend. Stay Caffeinated.

I am sorry that you had so much rain. Occupying small kids with bad weather is not always easy! Let’s hope next week’s weather will be better Kimberly.

We had the rain off and on, less of it this week than in past weeks though I think! I was actually able to mow the little ditch in my front yard yesterday because it actually didn’t have water in it for a change. Hope you enjoy your four day weekend!

Yes… I recall when the grandchildren were younger and how flat-out the summer holidays used to be! I hope the weather starts behaving better – it’s grim when it’s bucketing down outside and you have two restless youngsters penned up inside. I hope you get a chance to put your feet up during the coming week, Kimberly.

  5. Jessica @ a GREAT read

OOh an extra long weekend! That’s nice! We’re getting the rainy weather this weekend for sure. I think we had some rain on Friday and it’s raining now. I think after today we shouldn’t get any more until next weekend…at least as of now! Lol.

Nice new reads! Those are new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them once you get to read them!
