My husband will be sixty this week. We are going out to dinner tonight to celebrate and we’ll have the kids over for dinner & cake on his actual birthday. In April I read/listened to 15 books. A slight decrease from the month before, but I am sitting at 83/200 for Goodreads & 54 for the Audiobook Challenge. Do you ever have a week where you feel like you got nothing done and had zero time? That was my week in a nutshell. The Royals have only fourteen days of school left…time flies! As always, Stay Caffeinated.

    I had that exact week this week! No matter how much I tried to do things, other things kept getting in the way. My husband got called out of town for work, and we learned he would be there for the next couple of weeks. So I’m keeping the house in order on my own. If I had known he would be away for so long, I would have planted fewer plants to water in the flower beds.

    I hope Mr Caffeinated has a lovely birthday celebration:)). It’s one of those milestone birthdays that stays in the memory! I knew your summer break was way ahead of ours here in the UK – but I didn’t realise just how far adrift they are. Our children don’t break up until the 3rd week in July.     I have been having that since the last half of April. I always get surprised about the school break because our summer is in April and May. So we are kind of getting rid of the summer heat soon, hopefully. 🙂 Hope you have a great summer soon.

    Congrats! Such a milestone there! I so feel that this past week and it was such a slow week. The weekend just couldn’t get here fast enough haha and of course that just flies by. That audio cover for the Seana Kelly is GORGEOUS!! I love that green hue. Really blends well with her skin tone.

    Happy early Birthday to your hubby! Lately my weeks have all felt like a blurry boring mess. I guess boring is better than chaos, but every time I try to sum up my week, there’s not much to note! Lol!

    Ooh Kim Harrison’s book! I am debating about picking up an advanced copy on that one! I feel like they offered it to me a little late, but I guess maybe not. My review pile has gotten slightly out of control and my TBR pile continues to be chaos so I kind of want to get back to that as soon as possible. Lol.

    I think it’s common to have weeks where you’ve been busting your booty but not really achieved anything. The good news is they’re more like build-up weeks, like the boring episode before a season final 😁 next week will be awesome!
