I think you are good. You should receive an email to confirm. Then you can choose how often you want to receive it.

Personally my favorite is Feedly and I can easily organize my visiting. It’s like Bloglovin but less annoying?

Yes, there are oodles of RSS readers you can choose from. I just gave one example outside of the email RSS service I am using.
