The Letter is a fun, unique and beautifully illustrated story about a young girl who goes to a park to write a letter to someone very special but cannot find the words. What she soon discovers is that fate will write the letter for her in the most unlikely of ways with the help of some unlikely characters. With laughs, adventure and a strong message, The Letter teaches its readers that they are truly special, quirks and all
N.D. Byma was kind enough to send me a hardcover edition of The Letter and Sophia and I quickly began reading. The story is beautifully illustrated both inside and out by Amanda Grove. The colors are vivid and the font used for telling the story is cute. Each page offer a few sentences making it easy for early readers to follow along. The story begins with a little girl trying to write a very special letter at the park. Unable to think of the words she sets it on a park bench. Throughout the day folks find the letter and add to it. This was fun, adorable and added a little suspense from things happening to the letter to finding out what it says. Sophia while very little loved the vivid images and of course Nonna’s hilarious narration and sound effects. I can definitely see why The Letter is a reader’s favorite. It’s message is sweet and the adventure was fun. The Letter is available in Hardcover and as an eBook.

This is beautifully illustrated and one you’d absolutely need to have in a hardcover format. I feel like an ebook would never do it justice. This is a perfect book to read with my two younger kids. Thanks for sharing it, I’m ordering it now.
