I love a good detective murder mystery and was drawn to The Unquiet Bones by Loreth Anne White. Narrated by Carly Robins, a discovery of bones opens up a fifty-year-old cold case and upturns the lives of everyone in this riveting thriller.
Simone St. James has become an auto-buy for me. Her mystery thrillers, horror stories, and ghostly tales have all been fantastic. Murder Road was an atmospheric tale about a series of missing person/murders along a stretch of highway in Michigan called Atticus Line. You’ll want to turn the phone off and dive in.
A fellow blogger reviewed The Family Upstairs by Lisa Jewell and I added it to my library list. I opted for the audio version, since I love listening to the genre. A twisted tale comes to light when an orphan inherits a house in one of London’s posh neighborhoods.
