Earl Crush by Alexandra Vasti
Narrated by Mhairi Morrison, I was drawn to Earl Cush by Alexandra Vasti by its synopsis. The idea of a lady showing up on a reclusive Scottish earl’s doorstep and offering him marriage. Toss in some espionage, as I was all. A delightful romcom with plenty of spice and humor made this a perfect winter afternoon escape. Just add some Earl Grey and a cozy blanket.
Better Than Friends by Jill Shalvis
Better Than Friends by Jill Shalvis is the seventh standalone romance in the Sunrise Cove romance series. Shalvis delivered an enemies to lovers, family, forced proximity, second chance romance with a touch of suspense, and the cutest pet duo. This may well be my favorite Shalvis book yet!
Dr. Alaska by Jillian David
I was sent an ARC of Dr. Alaska by Jillian David and the tagline of Grey’s Anatomy meets Northern Exposure intrigued me. It’s a story of escaping one’s past, finding yourself and trusting again, all set against the backdrop of the Yukon Valley in Alaska. Cute sled dogs, suspense and medical emergencies added to the romance, and I quickly lost myself in the story.
