The Bride Says No by Cathy Maxwell

The Bride Says No is the first book in the Brides of Wishmore series by Cathy Maxwell. I have read a few of Maxwell’s earlier works and enjoyed them. How to Woo a Reluctant Lady by Sabrina Jeffries

If you have followed my blog for the past year then you are well aware of my love for Sabrina Jeffries and her Hellions of Hellstead Hall series with its strong characters and their mischievous, meddling Grandmother. How to Woo A Reluctant Lady offers us Lady Minerva Sharpe’s tale, one of two sisters in the Hellions family and oh lord is she snarky, quite witted and in over her head. Michelle Diener’s novel has elements I love in a good book; suspense, mystery and a side dish of romance all set in nineteenth century London. I adored the unique characters and the plot against the crown. I was captivated by this tale and could not put it down.
