I am laughing to myself as I write this review. Its Christmas Eve morning and I have pies in the oven. I have been blowing through this series and loving every moment of it. No you’re not crazy, it is indeed March. I review ahead and thus here we are. *Finally* Magic Rising is the sixth audio in Ilona Andrews wildly popular Kate Daniels series and has us traveling to Europe. The audio was fifteen hours in length but it felt like four. Filled with angst, miscommunication and death once again Andrews held me captive as I listened to Magic Rising.
Vision in Silver by Anne Bishop
Vision in Silver is the third book in Anne Bishop’s Other series. I love this series so hard it may be classified as extreme fangirling. I own the series is every format. Generally I listen to the audio version first and then read it. I have listened to the first two books twice and read them once. This is unprecedented as I am not generally one who does re-reads outside of a few classics. If you have not read/listened to this series, you are missing out.
Dead Heat by Patricia Briggs
Dead Heat is the fourth book in the Alpha & Omega series by Patricia Briggs. I listened to the previous books but was offered an advanced print copy of Dead Heat. Ironically, I could still hear the narrator in my head as I read. For those who are curious, I fully intend to continue the series in audio format. Dead Heat was intense and brought us closer to Charles and Anna.
Fair Game by Patricia Briggs
I enjoyed the first two books, but Fair Game by Patricia Briggs hooked me and I know without a doubt that I will continue the Alpha & Omega series. Filled with danger, humor and character development I love this world. Our little bunny is turning into one heck of an Omega.
Succubus On Top by Richelle Mead
Succubus On Top is the second novel in the Georgina Kincaid series by Richelle Mead. A quirky succubus, a bookstore, and a motley crew of supernatural friends make this urban fantasy an intriguing and often humorous series. Each book focuses on a case of sorts that out heroine unwittingly finds herself investigating.
