A Deadly Affection by Cuyler Overholt is the first novel in the Dr. Genevieve Summerford Mystery series. Dr. Summerford is one of the only female practitioners in New York City in the year 1907. Narrated by Carly Robins this story is filled shares a murder-mystery, humor and fascinating insight into this era, I quickly found myself drawn into the world.

Stalking Jack the Ripper was an engaging, dark, twisted and clever historical mystery that takes place in Whitechapel in the late 19th century as a young woman, along with her Uncle and his apprentice work to catch Jack the Ripper.

Last year I listened to and loved The Walled City by Ryan Graudin, and knew that without a doubt I would listen to Wolf by Wolf his newest release. Set in an alternate 1956 where the Third Reich and Imperial Japan rule the world. The story that unfolds in Wolf by Wolf was dark, brilliant and extraordinary.
