I enjoyed the Business Trip, and was delighted to receive The Fair Weather Friend, by Jessica Garcia. A Detroit meteorologist turns up dead in this multiple-POV suspense thriller. An engaging read that kept me reading.
Woman Down by Colleen Hoover
Woman Down by Colleen Hoover delivered a twisted suspense about an author trying to find her muse at a lakeside cabin after a traumatic year of viral backlash. An addictive tale that pulled me in and never let go.
Detour by Jeff Rake & Rob Hart
I am always in the mood for a good science fiction fantasy, and Detour by Jeff Rake & Rob Hart piqued my interest. I began reading the novel but switched over to the audio version narrated by Max Meyers. Detour delivered a suspenseful sci-fi thriller that kept me engaged from the first page.
House of Idyll by Delilah S. Dawson
I love Delilah S. Dawson’s brand of creepy horror and grabbed her newest thriller, House of Idyll. In this standalone fiction, Angelina Yves, a struggling singer/songwriter, is offered the chance to join an experimental luxury compound sponsored by the most famous band in the world, Black Idyll. Dawson delivered a dark, wicked and atmospheric tale that I devoured.
Tell Me Where She’s Buried by Patrick Logan
Narrated by Rick Adamson, Tell Me Where She’s Buried by Patrick Logan is the first audiobook in the Striker and Frost FBI Thriller series. It’s been a decade since FBI Agent Constantine ‘Con’ Striker put away the Sandman serial killer, who refused to tell Con where he buried his sister. An engaging thriller with flawed characters and plenty of twists.
