I am always in the mood for a good science fiction fantasy, and Detour by Jeff Rake & Rob Hart piqued my interest. I began reading the novel but switched over to the audio version narrated by Max Meyers. Detour delivered a suspenseful sci-fi thriller that kept me engaged from the first page.

I love Delilah S. Dawson’s brand of creepy horror and grabbed her newest thriller, House of Idyll. In this standalone fiction, Angelina Yves, a struggling singer/songwriter, is offered the chance to join an experimental luxury compound sponsored by the most famous band in the world, Black Idyll. Dawson delivered a dark, wicked and atmospheric tale that I devoured.

It’s been a decade since FBI Agent Constantine ‘Con’ Striker put away the Sandman serial killer, who refused to tell Con where he buried his sister. An engaging thriller with flawed characters and plenty of twists.
