I was totally in the mood for a good thriller and selected, The Nightwalker by Sebastian Fitzek, narrated by Robert Glenister. Both men were new to me, but the synopsis drew me in and I was delighted with this creeptastically twisted tale.
White Trash Zombie Gone Wild by Diana Rowland is the fifth book in the White Trash Zombie series. Hilarious, Intense, and filled with both crazy and heartfelt moments we once again witness Angel Crawford lose her shit and save the day. I absolutely love listening to this series. Allison McLemore narrates and just brings Angel and the other characters to life.
No Exit by Lena Diaz is the second novel in her romantic suspense series Exit Inc. As agent Jace Atwell attempts to infiltrate the company EXIT Inc. a front for a corrupt antiterrorist group with its own political agenda, he finds himself falling for the CEO’s daughter. Intense and action-packed No Exit delivered exactly the escape I needed.
Mercury Striking is the first novel in Rebecca Zanetti Scorpius Syndrome series an intense post-apocalyptic romantic suspense that I devoured. Zanetti is an author I have been meaning to try and when I saw this was a new series in a post-apocalyptic setting, I knew it was fate. Action packed, with strong alpha males and snarky, intelligent women Zanetti started this series off with a bang.
The Marriage Contract written by Katee Robert and narrated by Charlotte North drew me in with the promise of an Irish Mob family in Boston. The series will center on three crime families, the O’Malley’s, Sheridan’s, and Holloran’s. After listening to The Marriage Contract I fully intend to continue this series on audio.
