Whispers of the Dead offered a unique mystery with plenty of twists and a continuation of the slow burning romance that began in Lamb to the Slaughter.
Return of the Bad Boy by Jessica Lemmon is the final book in the Second Chance romances series and features a couple whose romance I have waited for. Filled with heat, heart and tender swoon-worthy moments Return of the Bad Boy was a romance I devoured.
What We Find by Robyn Carr is the first novel in the Sullivan’s Crossing series. Carr delivered a beautiful novel about love, family, loss and finding one’s self. Set against the trails of Colorado I quickly became wrapped up in the characters. What We Find had characters and banter that reminded me of early Virgin River books.
Her Forever Hero by Melody Anne is the third book in her Unexpected Heroes series. I read book one but someone missed book two but decided to jump ahead and read this since it worked for Take Control and fulfilled my Xoxpert read for March. .Her Forever Hero delivered a second chance romance filled with suspense, growing pains, and growth.
The One You Want by Gena Showalter is book 0.5 in the Original Heartbreakers series. I listened to the story narrated by Savannah Richards. I loved the small-town setting and concept, but The One You Want felt too over the top and ended up falling short for me.
