I was drawn to The Binding by Bridget Collins for it’s gorgeous cover and promising premise. Collins introduces us to the binding of memories and the damage forgetting painful memories or worse precious ones can do.
PERfunctory AfFECTION by Kim Harrison
Kim Harrison shares a twisted tale where the reader will need to determine what is real and what isn’t in PERfunctory AfFECTION.
Between Jobs by W.R. Gingell
Between Jobs by W.R. Gingell is the first novel in the City Between, an edgy urban fantasy series. Dark humor, an Australian setting and an unusual cast of characters kept me engaged.
Nightchaser by Amanda Bouchet
Nightchaser is the first novel in the Endeavor science fiction romance series by Amanda Bouchet. I chose to listen to the audio narrated by Susan Bennett. A slow start gave way to an engaging read.
In an Absent Dream by Seanan McGuire
My favorite of the Wayward Children to date, In an Absent Dream by Seanan McGuire sprang to life creating door that held me captive from its rules to the people who called it home. If you haven’t tried this fantasy novella series, I encourage you to do so. Perfect for listeners from 12 to 101.
