Elysian Fields is the third book in the Sentinels of New Orleans series by Suzanne Johnson and I was beyond excited to get me hands on this little book. Johnson has created an action-packed, hot series with characters I simply cannot get enough of. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite series and I devoured it! Three word review: Amazing-tastic, action-packed, romantic.
Review: Big Girl Panties: A Novel by Stephanie Evanovich
Big Girl Panties by Stephanie Evanovich wasn’t something I would have picked up, but I am ever so glad Avon Books sent it to me. Evanovich is a Jersey girl like me and I fully connected with her witty humor, and her fleshed out flawed characters. It is a tale of personal growth, romance, and misconceptions. I found myself completely swept up in this easy flowing tale. Three word review: witty, romantic, enlightening.
What the Bride Wore by Jade Lee
What the Bride Wore by Jade Lee is the third book in the Bridal Favors series. I did not read the first two books and feel this works easily as a standalone. I enjoyed this romance which was filled suspense and heat. It appears that each of the tales deal with female friends and their individual love stories. Three word review: sweet, original and suspenseful.
Running Wild by Linda Howard and Linda Jones
One of my favorite genres is romantic suspense and when you add a smexy, drop dead gorgeous cowboy, this little woman is a happy reader. I read Dani @ Paulette’s Papers review of Running Wild where she declared she was reading this over and over! *Naturally I bought it!* Howard and Jones provided me with a suspenseful thriller and a delicious romance. I literally consumed this full size novel in one sitting. Three word review: suspenseful, smexy and colorful.
Fifth Grave Past the Light by Darynda Jones
The Charley Davidson series is one of my absolute favorite, and when a book releases I greedily devour it I laughed, sighed and found myself quoting Fifth Grave Past the Light as I talked about it with anyone who was in my general vicinity. I also contemplated changing my wardrobe to strictly t-shirts and joining the dark side. Fifth Grave Past the Light rocked my world. Three Four word review: Mind-blowing, smexy, suspenseful and friggin’ hilarious.
