It’s over, and I want to cry. Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi was the last book in the Shatter Me series, and it has been one heck of a ride. From Mafi’s breathtakingly beautiful writing style to her characters that wrapped themselves around my heart this has been an epic journey. Mini review: Mafi delivered growth, choices, romance and a satisfying ending that left me with a smile.
Under Your Skin by Sabine Durrant
Under Your Skin, my Sabine Durrant delivers a psychological thriller that keeps you guessing with its clever twists. From its London setting to the fear of being wrongly accused Durant slowly drew me in, and I quite enjoyed the ride. Mini review: Suspenseful and dark that will keep you guessing.
Girl Missing by Tess Gerritsen
I discovered Tess Gerristen quite by accident while in the doctors’ office. There was a copy of the Surgeon, and I began reading. I then read all of her thrillers back to back. Her books were turned into a television series called Rizzoli & Isles. As much as I am a fan of her psychological suspense thrillers, I never ventured into her earlier works. I was surprised to learn she started with romantic suspense….
Be Mine Forever by Marina Adair
Marina Adair’s St. Helena Vineyards series is quickly becoming one of my favorite, go to, feel good series and Be Mine Forever is perhaps one of my favorites. Set in wine country I have enjoyed watching each of the DeLuca siblings fall, and Trey DeLuca was no exception. Mini review: heart-warming and hot with a little boy who stole my heart.
Wind Chime Café by Sophie Moss
Wind Chime Café is the first in the Wind Chime series by Sophie Moss. From the setting to the characters I slid right into this feel good tale. Moss delivered an engaging tale with few twists and characters that wrapped around my heart. Mini review: Small-town charm, sweet romance with a Navy Seal hero and a little girl who will steal your heart.
