Fourth of July weekend, despite my pile of ARCS and my long TBR list I was in the mood for something different to read. Can you relate? Marrow by Tarryn Fisher with its clever cover and tempting synopsis found its way into my TBR pile. A recent blogger review bumped it up my pile and I devoured it during the March Take Control of Your TBR Challenge. Twisted, addictive, dark, brilliant and gritty I devoured Marrow.
I’ve been lovin’ thrillers on audio this summer and was delighted to accept The Drowning Game by L.S. Hawker for review. Narrated by Amanda Dolan and Paul Woodson this mystery thriller offered twists and turns as it kept me guessing. A brilliant thriller that will keep you guessing.
Nowhere to Hide by Lindsay McKenna is the first book in the romantic suspense series Delos. It delivered a heart tugging romance surrounding two damaged individuals, but didn’t deliver the suspense I felt the synopsis promised.
