From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout delivered a riveting fantasy filled with romance, supernatural elements, and danger. Armentrout pulled me in and held me captive.
We all love sharing our reviews, discussions, and participating in fun memes but it is equally important to make sure our blog is running correctly and easy to navigate. Grab an iced coffee and do an inspection with me.
When you stop by to read a review are you taking advantage of all the links and additional information at your fingertips? Caffeinated offers a wealth of information with each review designed for you the reader. I am going to show you what each link does to enhance your experience.
Recently I have had a rash of blogs/websites steal my coffee cup and stack of books logo for their header, to announce world book day, as a book cover, for a PR company and everything from blog challenges to selling etsy products. My logo image even appears in a teaching video for second graders and an online newspaper for a small northeastern town. A student lawyer was using it ironically on her law site. Oops! Now I realize coffee and books are two very awesome things and my logo is adorkable but seriously people you need to be careful when grabbing images of the web.
I recommend that if you own a blog or website you add a search box. Believe it or not it ranks in the top ten of pet peeves for readers. I recently hosted an event and used search buttons to find folks start up posts. I had hoped to comment and cheer them on. On some blogs I was forced to click older posts over and over, refresh after refresh..eek gads!
I am often surprised when I visit a blog, love their post and go to click on a share icon and find none. At the bottom of every post you should have share buttons to allow others to uplift your posts. Our reach as bloggers goes only as far as our following and allowing others to uplift you can bring attention to you and your blog.
