One of my favorite story troupes is contract marriages and Gwen Jones delivered a delightfully funny, totally hot tale with WANTED: Wife. Filled with romance, suspense, a little mystery and a whole lot of heat I consumed this in record time. Three word review: hot, intense and romantic.
The Newcomer by Robyn Carr
I was excited to return to the small town of Thunder Point in Robyn Carr’s second novel The Newcomer. Filled with fleshed-out characters, real life drama, and a touch of romance I easily consumed this and look forward to visiting again. Three word review: small-town, love, friendship
Review: Imaginable by J. Meyers
Last year I read and enjoyed Intangible the first book in J. Meyers Intangible series and I found it to be a refreshing tale filled with Fae, prophecy, vampires and danger, so I was excited to dive into Imaginable book two of the series. Imaginable quickly drops us back into this exciting world as our protagonists confront danger and move towards stopping the prophecy. Three word review: captivating, magical and action-packed.
Less Than a Gentleman by Kerrelyn Sparks
I was delighted when Less Than A Gentleman was among the books gifted to me from Avon books when I became an Avon Addict. Have I ever shared my affection for men with facial scruff? Hmm, let’s see, one need only look at my Pinterest boards to discover three of my favorites; Jensen Ackles, Ian Somerhalder and Joseph Morgan. *fans self* How did I get on this subject? Oh yes the cover of Less Than A Gentleman immediately caught my eye and yum! I didn’t know what it was about but oh dang I wanted to find out. Thankfully Kerrelyn Sparks delivered on more than just eye candy and what I discovered was a suspenseful historical romance that had me turning the pages. Three word review: suspenseful, romantic and riveting.
Shudder by Samantha Durante
Last year I enjoyed Stitch the first book in the Stitch Trilogy and was anxious to discover what was happening in this strange dystopian world. Samantha Durante’s second book Shudder shows us the world beyond the walls of Paragon, and the engineers that designed Paragon. She does this all while revealing things that kept me turning the pages. Three word review: fascinating, suspenseful and enlightening.
