One Lucky Vampire by Lynsay Sands

One Lucky Vampire is the nineteenth book in the Aregeneau Vampire series by Lynsay Sands, and I was a little leery jumping in so late into the game, but it ended up being a good read. I had no difficulties as it appears each tale involves one immortal vampire, one mystery/case and a human who becomes their mate. Mini-review: steamy, insta-love, humor and suspense.

Parasite by Mira Grant

I would be remiss if I didn’t tell you that I have a profound love for this author. Mira Grant is a pseudonym for author Seanan McGuire. She brilliantly crosses genres and has created two separate and unique voices. I have loved every published work she has ever written and the Newsflesh Trilogy remains one of my all time favorites. When the Marquess Met His Match by Laura Lee Guhrke

When the Marquess Met His Match is set in Regency London filled with wonderful, feisty, and flawed characters. This is the first in a new series called, An American Heiress in London. From almost the beginning I knew what was going to unfold, but the journey to get there was delicious. I laughed, shouted and swooned as I devoured this in a single afternoon. Mini review: wicked, delicious and romantic.

Man Made Boy by Jon Skovron

Man Made Boy by Jon Skovron is a retelling of the classic Frankenstein featuring Frankenstein and the Bride’s son Frank. Skovron introduces a mix of genres in this paranormal romance, from cyberpunk to fantasy. At its heart, it is a coming of age story, with life lessons and first experiences. Mini review: quirky, intriguing and for the young at heart.
