Sweet Cowboy Christmas by Candis Terry

It is no secret that I love Candis Terry’s Sweet, Texas series. Cowboys, family, and a sweet romance make this series delightful. Terry makes it all the sweeter with her small-town Texas, setting. The Winner Takes It All by Jennifer Dawson

The Winner Takes It All by Jennifer Dawson drew me in with its synopsis and cute cover. After requesting it, I realized this was book two in the Something New series. Hot chemistry and a great dynamic group of friends and siblings made The Winner Takes It All a delicious afternoon delight.

Katie Cross continues to flesh out the world and its characters. I quickly became caught up in the events unfolding in Chatham Castle from danger to political maneuvering.

The Infinite Sea by Rick Yancey

Fifth Wave by Rick Yancey made my top ten list in 2013, so I was eager to begin The Infinite Sea, the second book in the trilogy. Aliens, human survival and a small group of characters told in multiple perspectives delivers us back into this war torn world. While I think the book suffered middle book syndrome I closed the book impressed by Yancey and the world that holds me captive.
