Last year I read and loved Silver Thaw, the first book in the Mystic Creek series and was delighted to have the opportunity to review and share New Leaf by Catherine Anderson the second book in the series. Touching with a dash of heat, Anderson brings heart to this small-town series that will have you pining to move to Mystic Creek, Oregon.
The Rogue Not Taken by Sarah MacLean
There is nothing I love more than snuggling by the fire with a Sarah MacLean novel. That is exactly what I did with her newest novel The Rogue Not Taken. The first in her new Scandal & Scoundrels series, The Rogue Not Taken was filled with banter, mischief, angst and two flawed characters I fell in love with.
Succubus Heat, Shadows & Revealed by Richelle Mead
I am working my way through series on my TBR pile/Wishlist and finally devoured the Georgina Kincaid series. Grab a cup of cocoa and some Christmas cookies while I share my thoughts on Succubus Heat, Succubus Shadows and Succubus Revealed.
Winter by Marissa Meyer
Winter is the last book in the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer and at over eight hundred pages; Meyer took readers on one heck of a ride as we faced down Queen Levana. It was brutal, intense and frustrating. Winter was epic, beautifully written and a brilliant retelling.
Misconduct by Penelope Douglas
Misconduct by Penelope Douglas was a novel my friends raved about. When the audio came across my desk and I saw the setting was NOLA I grabbed my earbuds. I couldn’t be happier not only did I get a swoon-worthy romance with all the elements I favor but I found a new author. Heated, snarky, complex and completely addictive I devoured the audio edition of Misconduct.
