Last year I was flabbergasted to realize the movie Home Alone was 25 years old. Where did the time go? Birthdays sneak up on me and I lose track of how old I am..but the wait between book releases is painfully slow. A blogger commented it seems like forever since the last Mercy Thompson book release but in reality it hasn’t even been a year..and yet time seems to slow down when we think in terms of books. It’s like the whole Space Time Continuum is torturing book lovers.
Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful, Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow. Dress in your favorite snuggly outfit, (don’t forget those warm socks) and make some coffee, hot cocoa or tea and spend the afternoon curled up with ones of these books…perfect for a snow day.
When it comes to straight up contemporary romances I find myself drawn to books to contemporary romance series. I thought I would share what is it that draws me to these books. I adore them all from small quaint New England settings to Big Sky Country. Some are sweet and some have heat, but they all have a few thing in common. Grab a cup of cocoa or peppermint mocha coffee and enjoy!
