Today on Recipe and a Book Recommendation I am excited to share a marinade for grilled pork steak and an audiobook review of Witch Slapped written by Dakota Cassidy and narrated by Hollie Jackson. The marinade is bursting with flavor and is very simple to make. I make this when I am cooking for a large crowd. The pork loins are cheaper than other grilled foods and better for you. Grab a pen and paper because you will want to add the recipe and Witch Slapped to your shopping list.
Why I Never Change my Original Rating of a Book
I used to re-read favorite books all the time. I would run my fingers over my bookshelf and pull out a book that gripped me emotionally, made me laugh aloud or introduced me to a genre I have come to love. Sometimes the book impacts me differently, or loses its lackluster the second go round but that doesn’t mean I change my rating of the book.
Nonna’s Corner: Raybot by Adam F. Watkins
Thanks to a fellow blogger I received a box of children’s books from Penguin and will be sharing them with you this summer. When the box arrived Sophia’s eyes lit up. She loves opening packages and squealed when she saw what was inside. In the box where three books, and today we are sharing Raybot by Adam F. Watkins. This was the book Sophia demanded to read first. Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy! You will want to pick up Raybot for the little ones in your life 🙂
